DK Heerlen presenteert “Welkom in het Bos” van Alex van Warmerdam.
Een kenmerkend stuk van Alex van Warmerdam.
Met een -vaak absurdistische- humor, die het menselijk bestaan relativeert en onze moderne leefwijze van niets-meer-wetende-en-begrijpende stadsbewoner bekritiseert.
In “Welkom in het Bos” zwerven twee vrouwen door een bos:
Dora, weggelopen van haar man, en Fannie, die haar terzijde staat. Ze strijden tegen honger en dorst. ’s Nachts zijn er verontrustende geluiden. Dan stuiten ze op een aantal merkwaardige personages: een timide faun, een rijke nietsnut en een onbehouwen priester. Allen willen ze bevrijd worden van hun lusten, maar de kunst van het verleiden beheersen ze niet. Voor Fannie en Dora zit er niets anders op dan van zich af te bijten.
Als ook Edward, de man van Dora, in het bos verschijnt en Dora zelf onder een omgevallen boom bekneld raakt, wordt het allemaal erg ingewikkeld. Er is sprake van een geheim, maar of dat geheim aan het licht komt is de vraag.
De Dramatische Kunstkring Heerlen staat er, met zijn bijna 100-jarige ervaring, garant voor u weer een vrolijke avond bezorgen.
