Een concert van Bobbie Wall.
Op 24 mei geeft artieste Bobbie Wall in het Zonnehuis in Amsterdam-noord een concert ter ere van haar nieuwe EP The Hurricane. In de laatste maand van haar zwangerschap nam Bobbie Wall drie liedjes op met photoshoot en videoclip. Hoogzwanger, met een trappend voetje in haar ribbenkast en trots op haar veranderende lichaam en geest.
Al jaren koesterde zij de droom om jong moeder te worden, maar stelde het ieder jaar uit met het idee: “Misschien dat ik dit jaar meer optreed en dan kan ik écht niet zwanger zijn als ik eindelijk de Ziggo Dome uitverkoop.” Als eind twintiger besloot ze dat de liefde voor een kind en haar liefde voor muziek prima naast elkaar kunnen bestaan. Tijdens haar zwangerschap ontdekte ze een nieuwe wereld. Eentje van onvoorwaardelijke liefde voor een schepsel dat iedere week de vorm aanneemt van een andere fruitsoort.
In deze periode schreef ze drie liedjes. City Lights. voordat ze zwanger werd. Lullaby, in prille begin toen niemand het nog wist. The Hurricane, toen het vruchtje veilig was en zich ontwikkelde tot een mensje. In The Hurricane-video wilt Bobbie laten zien dat het prachtig is dat er in het lichaam een mens groeit, dat het ontzettend eng is om je veilige ritme om te gooien. Maar dat als de storm gezakt is, je iets waardevols hebt gecreëerd: het leven.

I have not received my ticket via email. What should I do?
The first thing to do is check your spam/junk filters and inboxes. Your tickets were sent as an attachment and can be thought of as spam by some email services.
