Who wants another beer and bratwurst sort of combo? Not us. In partnership with local brewery Butcher's Tears, Walter Marskamp, Head Chef of the Lotti’s kitchen, is doing something just a tiny bit different: beer and veg. They’ve whipped up a five-course vegetarian tasting menu paired with five beers from the butchers – don't worry, though, all these beers are veg friendly.

Butcher's Tears is a small-batch brewery focused on uncommon and undersung styles, experimental tastes and reviving forgotten bear types. Since 2011, they've been whipping up strange and surreal flavours like the smoke supersaison, 100% oat IPAs and Sour Keeping Porter, often inspired by historical recipes. Now they’re hitting The Hox and you can bet that you won't know what to expect. Think along the lines of unexpected combinations of fresh fruit, veg, spice and microgreens coupled up with surprising tang and tastes from those hoppy brews and you’re starting to get at what’s happening here. Not a fan of beer? You just haven’t tried the right one.
