Bekende en minder bekende klassieke muziekstukken worden letterlijk nieuw leven in geblazen door het Sweelinck Koperkwintet.
Een veelzijdig programma zal de aanwezigen meenemen in uitbundige vreugde waarbij alle instrumenten meedoen, langs ingetogen solowerken en fijnzinnig zingende blazers. De muziek komt van grote componisten zoals Bruckner, Bach, Wagner en Praetorius., deels in bewerkingen door de muzikanten zelf.
En er is meer: het ensemble zal ook een gloednieuwe compositie in première brengen! In opdracht van de stichting Bätz-Witte Conserts Kapelle heeft de Nederlands-Noorse componist Hans Blok een muziekstuk geschreven met een hoofdrol voor ons harmonium, samen met het koperkwintet. Het is een werk geworden met invloeden van Tibetaanse volksmuziek, met imitaties van traditionele instrumenten als de sheng en waarin de trombone klinkt als een zingende monnik. Kortom een stuk wat ons in volstrekt nieuwe sferen zal brengen.
Dat is ook wat het hele programma belooft te doen, en wat de jonge muzikanten graag willen: ons hart en hoofd raken met mooie muziek. Kom luisteren en beleef het met ons mee!

The first thing to do is check your spam/junk filters and inboxes. Your tickets were sent as an attachment and can be thought of as spam by some email services.
