In samenwerking met forten.nl organiseert restaurant Vroeg een buitenbioscoop avond op het terrein naast het bunkerpad. Een heerlijke nazomeravond met barbecue, grill, bier en wijn en natuurlijk een film die je gezien moet hebben.
Lion, gebaseerd op het waargebeurde verhaal van de Indiase jongen Saroo Brierley.
Als 5-jarig jongetje komt hij per ongeluk terecht op een trein die hem duizenden kilometers door India voert; ver weg van zijn thuis en familie. De kleine Saroo heeft geen idee waar hij is of waar hij vandaan komt. Na wekenlang in zijn eentje te overleven in de ruige straten van Calcutta wordt de jongen opgenomen in een weeshuis en uiteindelijk geadopteerd door een Australisch echtpaar.
Door een samenloop van omstandigheden, gaat Saroo op zijn 30ste op zoek naar de plek waar hij jaren geleden zijn familie kwijtraakte. Slechts gewapend met Google Earth en zijn vroegste jeugdherinneringen bekijkt hij elke avond urenlang de spoorlijnen die naar Calcutta leiden, totdat hij na een jaar dat ene station denkt te herkennen. Hij vertrekt naar India in de hoop zijn familie terug te vinden.
Lion is de verfilming van de bestseller “Mijn lange weg naar huis”. De verfilming kent een sterrencast waaronder (Oscar® genomineerde) Nicole Kidman, (Oscar® genomineerde) Roony Mara, Dev Patel en David Wenham.

I have not received my ticket via email. What should I do?
The first thing to do is check your spam/junk filters and inboxes. Your tickets were sent as an attachment and can be thought of as spam by some email services. The approval of refunds is entirely at the event organiser’s discretion, and you should get in contact with the event organiser to discuss what options are available to you.
