WHAT IS ART BATTLE?
Art Battle is live competitive painting. Painters create the best work in 20 minutes. As they work, patrons move around the easels, closely watching the creative process. The medium is acrylic paint and the tools are allowed brushes, palette knives or any non-mechanical implements. At the end of the round, the audience votes democratically for their favorite painting and bids in the silent auction. Art Battle happens in cities worldwide, check artbattle.com for local listings!
WHAT IS ARTBATTLE?
Art Battle is a live, competitive painting night. Painters create the best they can within 20 minutes. As they shape the paintings, the audience walks around and sees the process up close. All that while enjoying a drink and music from a live DJ. In terms of material Art Battle provides painters with acrylic paint and a canvas, the artist is allowed to take brushes, palette knives and other non-mechanical instruments. At the end of the round the public chooses the favorite democratically, and in the meantime the paintings are offered in a silent auction. It is a special opportunity, Art Battle gives innovative artists a stage and the possibility to really break through. As an audience you get the opportunity to go home with your favorite (unique!)
