ABOUT THE MARATHON
WHEN: Sat, 24 June 2017, 12:00 to midnight
WHAT: 12 hours straight of improv performances
WHERE: Kunst & Cultuurhuis Cinetol, Amsterdam
WHO: Players from Amsterdam, the Netherlands, neighbouring countries and beyond
WHY: To showcase local talent and bring the community together for a killer event
HOW IT WORKS & WHAT TO EXPECT
12 hours of improv, broken down into six blocks on two hours.
Each block will have a smogasbord of shows and format from different groups across Amsterdam, the Netherlands, and beyond, including mixer teams for individual performers.
In ever two-hour block, there will be a 10 minute break for audience and performers to get a drink, grab a bite, have a smoke, and visit the bathroom.
Amsterdam is ripe for cultural events and we want to add to that landscape. We're tackling a different type of show because we believe in showcasing the talents of the local community and create an opportunity for players and audience alike to meet and see groups and formats they may never have encountered before. Community is the philosophy, fun is the action.
SINGLE BLOCK : €5-7,50
Want just a taster? Come for a single two-hour block — the length of a standard improv show. You'll still get to see more groups and formats than a regular show, without the time commitment.
FIXED BLOCK : €7,50
Choose exactly what shows you want to see once the programme is released.
RANDOM BLOCK : €5
Not fussed about the programme or time? We'll allocate you a random ticket. Fun and killer improv still guaranteed.
HALF DAY : €15
Want more than just one block, but not ready to commit to the full 12 hours? Get a Half Day pass! The pass is good for three blocks. You can pick either the first half (Blocks 1-3) or second half (Blocks 4-6).
FULL DAY : €25
The whole package! See everything on the programme. Dip in and out as you please and spend a full day with the Amsterdam improv community.
VIP PACKAGE : €40
You get the FULL DAY PASS along with priority seat and some killer swag:
