In het hart van de Maand van de Filosofie komt oprichter van The School of Life Alain de Botton naar Amsterdam om zijn antwoorden te geven. Met filosofisch inzicht en psychologische scherpzinnigheid toont hij hoe onze huidige romantische idealen veel schade kunnen veroorzaken en geeft hij alternatieven voor een nieuwe romantiek. Een verhelderend en hoopgevend verhaal over hoe liefdesrelaties in de eenentwintigste eeuw kunnen standhouden en zelfs meer dan ooit tot bloei kunnen komen.
Alain de Botton is een van de beroemdste filosofen ter wereld. De Britse oprichter van The School of Life verkocht miljoenen boeken en gaf voordrachten over de hele wereld. Hij staat bekend om zijn vurige betogen en kraakheldere en herkenbare taal.
Alain is voor het eerst in 1,5 jaar weer in Nederland en The School of Life Amsterdam heeft het genoegen hem te mogen presenteren.
Voertaal is Engels. Tickets zijn €47,50 inclusief servicekosten en en het nieuw te verschijnen boek van Alain Weg van liefde.

Alain de Botton wll be in Amsterdam again, on the 13th of April. He will be talking about his new work on Love, A new Romanticism. The talk will be held in English, more information will be announced via our newsletter and in this event af course.
