Allen claimt voor zijn 35ste 35 banen te hebben gehad. Hij was verslaafd aan heroïne en zijn leven was een puinhoop. Uit nood geboren ontwikkelde hij een revolutionair eenvoudig systeem om je zaken op orde te krijgen. Of het gaat om werk, je privé-leven of welk project dan ook, Allen's methode hielp miljoenen mensen ruimte te maken om toe te komen aan de keuzes die echt belangrijk zijn voor persoonlijke ontwikkeling.
The School of Life kreeg het voor elkaar! We probeerden Allen al vanaf de opening uit te nodigen voor een talk. De doorbraken die in sessies met Allen werden bereikt zijn talrijk. The School of Life Amsterdam is happy to announce that the world famous productivity-guru David Allen will be giving a talk in The Westerkerk in Amsterdam on the 6th of January. Allen helped thousands of people in their personal growth by focussing on the removal of barriers in daily life and actually learn how to do what you really want to do. His book Getting Things Done is extremely popular and read by millions of people.
We asked Allen to give a deeper insight in the psychology and philosophy of his work. We are very happy to make Allen's great work accessible for many people (not only professionals) thanks to his generosity. The price will be 43 euro, including his new, revised, book Getting Things Done. The talk will be held in English. Sales of the (only 700) seats will start around the 10th. of September.
