Als voorbereiding voor de deelname aan een muziekfestival in november in Bodegraven, zal het harmonieorkest van Harpe Davids op zaterdag 21 oktober 2023 een try-out concert verzorgen in kerkzaal De Ark aan het Hargplein 101 in Schiedam-Noord. Het harmonieorkest o.l.v van Leo Simons zal op deze avond in ieder geval de twee te beoordelen muziekwerken ten gehore brengen, nl. "Slavia" van Jan Van der Roost en "Merlin" van Thierry Deleryuelle. Speciale medewerking aan deze avond wordt verleend door de Rijnmondband 3 uit Schiedam. Aan het eind spelen de twee orkesten gezamenlijk het muziekwerk "Flower Power" met de o.a. de hits "Let's Go to San Francisco", "All I Ever Need is You" en "Happy Together".
Het concert begint om 20:00 uur, de zaal is open om 19:30 uur.
