Description

True Soldiers Productions proudly presents a very special evening with master beatsmith Knxwledge from Stones Throw Records.
Special guests: ToolBox // EARL SOUTH // tu.sais ( Next Level Shit ) and Freddy Bracker ( MoonTroop crew )

Knxwledge (pronounced “knowledge”) is a beat maker raised in central New Jersey and Philadelphia, now in Los Angeles.
Standing out in a sea of producers rising from the L.A. beat scene, the prolific artist and record collector produces his sound by creating a pastiche of soul, jazz and hip-hop that melts together in a style uniquely his own. He has produced for hip-hop powerhouse Kendrick Lamar on To Pimp a Butterfly, for Joey Badass on 1999, and has released dozens of remix and beat tape collections on his Bandcamp, compiled on Anthology (2013, Leaving Records).
Knx has found a home on Stones Throw’s roster, working closely with Mndsgn and with Anderson Paak in an R&B/hip-hop collaboration as NxWorries.
His debut full length on Stones Throw is the album Hud Dreems(2015).

Toolbox:

One of Antwerp's finest producers, making beats since 2008 and never stopped developing his sound. After self releasing an EP in 2012, he kept moving forward. Ending second in the Champion Sound beat battle 2013, productions being picked up by 22tracks and releasing on the Foot Juice footwork compilation earlier this year.

Earl South:

Earl South is one of the founders of Beat Kitchen; He started the dj game in 2000 and is always evolving his skills and his record collection. By doing so he managed to stay true to the sound he liked and that got him spinning the decks. This being best described as a blend of instrumentals, beats and electronica with a lot of jazz, soul and funk influences.

Tusais:

Another big talent from Antwerp. He's been around since 2010 but only recently started venturing the more experimental side of hip hop. From beats getting featured on 22tracks to releases on cosmic cream, nua and visionary collective . This guy is starting to turn heads.
