Op vrijdag 13 mei presenteert Simulacrum het derde nummer van dit jaar: Artistieke Diplomatie. Hoofdmoot van het programma is een dynamische discussie tussen kunstenaars, kunsthistorici en theoretici met achtergronden in verschillende instituten. Wat levert het op om de kunstwereld als diplomatisch geheel te bekijken? Wat is de gedroomde rol van het kunstinstituut in relatie tot de overheid? Dit & meer bespreken we vrijdag bij Spectrum.

N.B.: Spectrum heeft een nieuwe locatie! Spectrum in MixTree op de tweede verdieping van OT301 wordt een avond zoals je hem van ons gewend bent - Simulacrum, kunst, lezingen, discussie - maar de muziek gaat een tikje harder en de laatblijver wordt beloond. Speciaal voor jullie bouwen we bioscoopzalen om tot dansvloer en houden we de bar goedgevuld.

On Friday 13 May, Simulacrum launches the 3rd issue of this year: Artistic Diplomacy. Main part of the programme (which will be in Dutch) is a dynamic discussion featuring artists, art historians and theoreticians, coming from different institutes. What are the merits of considering the 'art world' as diplomatic? What is the administrative social role of art institutes, or what should it be? All this - and more - will be discussed this Friday at Spectrum!

The first thing to do is check your spam/junk filters and inboxes. Your Spectrum | Artistieke Diplomatie tickets were sent as an attachment and can be thought of as spam by some email services. The approval of refunds is entirely at the event organiser’s discretion, and you should get in contact with the event organiser to discuss what options are available to you.
