Het bekende Urker mannenkoor Soli Deo Gloria en Jong Mannenkoor Jubilate geven gezamelijk een nieuwsjaarsconcert in de Grote Kerk van Vianen. Beide koren hebben hun sporen verdiend in de afgelopen jaren. De kenmerkende klank van de zangers uit Urk en de uitgebalanceerde koorklank van Jubilate smelten samen in de prachtige akoestiek in Vianen.
De zang wordt omlijst met diverse musici. De super getalenteerde violiste Boglarke Erdös en haar vader cellist Csaba Erdös omlijsten de zang. Ook harpiste Maria Knops en trompettist Henk Jan Drost zullen van zich laten horen in de koorbegeleiding en de instrumentale intermezzi.
Aan de piano de bekende koorbegeleider en musicus Johan Bredewout. De beide dirigenten van de koren Jaap Kramer en Lennert Knops begeleiden dit geheel op het orgel.
Er wordt deze avond een collecte gehouden ten bate van Mercy Ships.
