Tired but true, keep your favorites living longer with our first ever Repair-a-thon. Is your jacket missing a couple of buttons? Your jeans a little holey? Sweater a little sad? Bring in something you want to repair / fix and walk away. Repairing is a funky way to salvage old loved gear and life cycle products. No previous skills required! We just ask for your questions, how to save your garment. Check out photos on the event page or examples of your repairs and possible ideas of what we can Accomplish together thon!
What we offer:
• All supplies you need to repair your beloved garment: scissors, needles, threads, seam sealer and more
• Pieces of fabric to experiment with
• Things to make your own patches - fabric, interfacing and more
• Buttons
• One drink & a lil something sweet
• Professional guidance by Mérida & Zivile
This is not:
• A time to get your stuff repaired by someone else
• A sewing 101 course or an atelier finishing class
This IS:
• A time to learn a new skill to keep that old jacket living
• A place to work and creative thinking on
