Het openingsprogramma:
- welkom door Martin Berendse, directeur OBA
- toelichting op de tentoonstelling door Marloes Krijnen, directeur Foam
- openingswoord door Sterre Sprengers, chef beeldredactie De Correspondent
Aansluitend is er een borrel en gelegenheid om de tentoonstelling te bekijken.
Foam Fotografiemuseum Amsterdam presenteert foto’s uit eigen collectie in de Centrale OBA. De tentoonstelling heeft als thema: Lezen van Beeld. Foto’s worden vaak als voor ‘waar’ aangenomen, maar de betekenis van het beeld is niet zo eenduidig als het lijkt. Wat gebeurde er vóór de opname? En wat één seconde later? Wat zegt dit over alle beelden, die dagelijks op ons afkomen?
Met werk van: Paul Kooiker, Isabelle Wenzel, Peter Puklus, Sjoerd Knibbeler, Blommers en Schumm, Daniëlle van Ark, Raphaël Dallaporta, Richard Mosse, Mikhael Subotzky, Daniel Gordon, Krista van der Niet, Nicholas Gottlund, Léonie Hampton, WassinkLundgren, Sanne Peper, Ola Lanko, Lorenzo Vitturi, Jan Hoek, Anne de Vries en Corriëtte Schoenaerts.
De tentoonstelling is na de opening te zien van 2 september t/m 30 november, elke dag van 10.00 tot 22.00 uur in de Centrale OBA. Gratis toegang.
