Op zaterdag 16 november 2019 speelt het harmonieorkest van Harpe Davids uit Schiedam voor de eerste maal in de Bethelkerk te Vlaardingen.
Speciale medewerking wordt verleend door zanger/sazspeler Semih Arikan. Ook zijn leerlingen verlenen medewerking. Een bijzondere samenwerking waarvoor Leo Simons, de nieuwe dirigent van Harpe Davids, een drietal traditionele Turkse liederen speciaal voor de deze gelegenheid heeft gearrangeerd voor harmonieorkest en saz. Harpe Davids zal zelf deze avond ook nog een aantal bijzondere werken spelen, w.o. "Variations on a Moravian Hymn" en "The Eight Candle".
