West is waar het gebeurt deze dagen. Daarom strijkt Mood neer in RADION met een klapper van jewelste. Voor onze upgrade naar een grotere zaal hebben we maar liefst twee van onze favoriete artiesten uitgenodigd: Eric Cloutier en Jane Fitz. Beiden van Angelsaksische komaf en beiden liefhebbers van het zwarte goud – hoe kan het ook anders op Mood.
Geboren in Detroit, groot geworden in de befaamde New Yorkse club The Bunker en woonachtig in Berlijn: Eric Cloutier. Al zeker twee decennia beweegt hij dansvloeren met zijn sferische muziek. Cloutier speelt een breed spectrum van de elektronische muziek van house naar dub, maar we kennen hem vooral van zijn diepe, solide en bovenal dansbare techno, die hij zorgvuldig selecteert.
Zonder zelf ook maar één plaat uit te brengen schopte Jane Fitz het tot de top van de mondiale underground, puur door haar ijzersterke sets. Deze UK-lady is een connaisseur, een cratedigger en boven alles een bijzonder vaardig DJ, met een warme en kleurrijke sound, balancerend op het randje van house en techno. Fitz is een graag geziene gast op het legendarische Freerotation festival en wij kijken uit naar haar levenslustige verschijning op Mood.
