Na jarenlang stil te zijn geweest wordt op zaterdag 27 september 2025, de Hervormde kerk in Kapelle gevuld met de eerste klanken van het gerestaureerde Hess-orgel.
Het Hess-orgel (1786) is met grote zorg en oog voor detail gerestaureerd, met een verbluffend mooi resultaat. Het Hess-orgel is bescheiden van formaat, maar de klank is inspirerend en vult op een verrassende manier de Hervormde Kerk in Kapelle, waardoor het ondanks zijn geringe omvang een indrukwekkende muzikale aanwezigheid heeft.
Dankzij ingrijpende restauratiewerkzaamheden van orgelbouwer Wimmenhove is niet alleen de klank, maar ook de uitstraling van het complete orgel in volle glorie hersteld.
