De huiskamerset is nog nooit zo beladen geweest. Onze vriend Ruud komt vaak even een borrel drinken en een hele lange tijd geleden was het zaadje geplant. 'Zeg Ruud, wil jij ook eens 6 uur lang draaien? Als in andere muziek, niet dat ene uurtje knallen met alle toeters en bellen erbij.'
Hell yeah! was het antwoord en het is dan ook eindelijk gelukt. Natuurlijk kan FeestDJRuud dit want de beste man draait al vanaf z'n 14e. Inmiddels meer dan gepokt en gemazeld in het op z'n kantje leggen van zalen.
Dit gaat wel even wennen worden voor 'm. Dat eerste uurtje dat een club open is bijvoorbeeld en iedereen nuchter binnenloopt. Het eerste biertje wordt besteld en de danspasjes beginnen rustig met wat geschuivel. Toch even anders.
De huiskamerset zoals de huiskamerset echt bedoeld is. Gerenomeerde DJ's uit hun comfort zone halen en alle tijd en ruimte geven om een andere kant van zichzelf te laten horen.
