    Description

OdRaDeK LIVE and MF technology present:

One of the most important albums in the history of Italian independent music, Rise and Fall of Academic Drifting by established post-rock band Giardini di Mirò, is being celebrated with a special 15-year anniversary tour. Unique and unrepeatable, it also marks their very first performance in the Netherlands.

Giardini di Mirò (GdM) is a band originating from Cavriago in the province of Reggio Emilia, Northern Italy. Their music however was mostly influenced by the British post-rock scene. It can be described as psychedelia, shoegaze, dream pop, noise, post-punk.

Since their inception in 2001, with the release of Rise and Fall of Academic Drifting, the vocation of the band was to be part of a larger European scene. Throughout the years Giardini di Mirò have been extensively touring in Italy, Germany, Greece, Switzerland, Belgium, Luxembourg, Poland, Spain, Denmark, France, and in January 2017 the Netherlands!
