CURRENT[S], WAVE[S], FORMATION[S], is the result of a deep dive undertaken by Donna van Dijck aka floatmonki in her research in intergenerational emotional connections and the stories we pass on through sound making. Inspired by her great grandfather's multi-tonal symphonic music, her background and love for jazz harmony and newfound love for electronic music, floatmonki presents an evening with all new music, re-imagining her future in sound and image, as an audiovisual wombscape. As all life begins in water, so does community: you-me-us: afloat.
