Restaurant Vroeg organiseert een buitenbioscoop avond op het terrein naast het bunkerpad. Een heerlijke nazomeravond met streetfood (ook vegetarische opties), bier en wijn en natuurlijk een film die je gezien moet hebben.
"Monsieur Chocolat" is een ontroerend en meeslepend drama dat zich afspeelt in het Parijs van de Belle Époque. Deze film vertelt het waargebeurde verhaal van Rafael Padilla, beter bekend als Chocolat, de eerste zwarte circusartiest in Frankrijk.
De film volgt het leven van Chocolat, gespeeld door Omar Sy, die als voormalige slaaf een carrière opbouwt in het circus. Zijn talent en charisma brengen hem samen met de clown Footit, vertolkt door James Thiérrée. Hun innovatieve duo-act wordt al snel een groot succes, en Chocolat stijgt naar het hoogtepunt van roem en welvaart.
Echter, terwijl hij geniet van zijn nieuwe status, wordt hij geconfronteerd met racisme en discriminatie, zowel in zijn professionele als persoonlijke leven. "Monsieur Chocolat" toont op indringende wijze de uitdagingen en innerlijke strijd van een man die probeert zichzelf te blijven in een samenleving die hem vaak niet accepteert.
