Restaurant Vroeg organiseert een buitenbioscoop avond op het terrein naast het bunkerpad. Een heerlijke nazomeravond met streetfood (ook vegetarische opties), bier en wijn en natuurlijk een film die je gezien moet hebben.
Inhoud van de film:
Paul is een ongelukkige professor en familieman, die hunkert naar erkenning. Hij is een sullige en onopvallende academicus die een leven leidt dat nooit echt resultaten heeft opgebracht. Zijn leven wordt op zijn kop wordt gezet wanneer miljoenen vreemden hem plotseling in hun dromen zien opduiken. Hij wordt onmiddellijk een beroemdheid, maar die nieuwe status komt onder druk te staan als de dromen nachtmerries worden.
De Noorse regisseur Kristoffer Borgli maakte met Sick of Myself (de slotfilm van Imagine vorig jaar) al een satire op de cultus van narcisme en sociale media. Met Dream Scenario gaat hij nog een stapje verder: het verhaal van een wat sukkelige professor die van de ene dag op de andere een beroemdheid wordt, neemt ideeën van mannelijkheid, sociale media, de obsessie met celebrities en cancelcultuur op de hak. Net als in zijn vorige film blijkt Borgli de tijdgeest perfect aan te voelen en is de satire raak en scherp. Daarbij wordt de regisseur geholpen door Nicolas Cage, in zijn beste rol in jaren.
Kortom een prachtige zomeravondfilm die je beslist gezien moet hebben!
