Anfang November gibt es seit langer Zeit endlich mal wieder eine BergWacht Ausgabe im Basement und Cafè des Artheaters, da die kleineren Nummern logischerweise auch intimer sind, freuen wir uns sehr auf das Datum. Zu diesem Anlass haben wir die Crew von La Rêve aus Amsterdam für euch eingeladen. Ähnlich wie wir in Köln sind die Jungs in Amsterdam gut aufgestellt und wirken nicht nur mit einem eigenen Floor auf verschiedenen Festivals mit, sondern veranstalten sogar ein eigenes, das Dagdromen Festival. Musikalisch werden in der Nacht Hubert Kirchner und Cliff de Zoete mit einem LIVE Set die Gruppe vertreten.
Hubert Kirchner hat bereits eine lange musikalische Vergangenheit, schon im zarten Alter von 7 Jahren spielte er Violine und Kontrabass. Als er im Alter von 18 Jahren nach Amsterdam kam, entdeckte er seine Leidenschaft für elektronische Musik und entwickelte nach und nach seinen eigenen Style mit warmen Symphonien und treibenden Rhythmen. Mit 20 Jahren bekam er bereits Komplimente von Künstlern wie Egbert, Max Cooper, Matador, Microtrauma und Olivier Weiter. Seine Releases sind auf Labels wie Traum Schallplatten und Parquet Rec. zu finden. Er spielte bereits auf Festivals wie das Pleinvrees oder DGTL.
Cliff de Zoete, der zweite aus dem Hause La Rêve ist so etwas wie ein ungeschliffener Rohdiamant, er bringt sehr großes Talent mit sich. Allerdings assoziieren die Menschen diesen Begriff vor allem mit etwas, das noch zu verbessern ist. In Cliffs Fall ist es das, was ihn perfekt macht. Wer will heutzutage ohnehin glänzende Diamanten? Durch seinen rauen, tiefen melodischen Sound drückt Cliff auf dem besten Weg seine Persönlichkeit aus. Seine Releases sind auf Parquet Rec., Inlab Rec, Submarine Vibes oder dem Kölner Label Jannowitz zu finden. Wir sind gespannt was noch kommen wird und erwarten Großes!
Ein zusätzlicher Gast Dj der Nacht ist nicht nur ein sehr guter Freund, sondern auch ein klasse Dj der Kölner Lokal Szene. Henna spielt zum ersten mal bei uns und wird nach den La Rêve Jungs übernehmen. Aus dem Hause BergWacht sind Lukas Bilz und Liho mit dabei, Lukas übernimmt das Warmup und Liho den Schluss
