Op vrijdag 7 juni wordt de Hervormde kerk in Kapelle gevuld met indrukwekkende koperklanken tijdens een bijzonder concert door het Trompetensemble van het Koninklijk Conservatorium Den Haag. Maar liefst 14 trompetstudenten laten in diverse bezettingen horen hoe indrukwekkend, veelzijdig en kleurrijk het instrument kan klinken, met én zonder orgel.
Het ensemble staat onder leiding van Erwin ter Bogt, solotrompettist van het Residentie Orkest Den Haag en hoofdvakdocent trompet aan het conservatorium. Ook docenten Gertjan Loot (Nederlands Philharmonisch Orkest) en Robert-Jan Hoffman (Residentie Orkest) spelen mee.
Organist Joël Boone verleent eveneens zijn medewerking en zal naast begeleiding ook een solowerk op het orgel uitvoeren.
PROGRAMMA:
Het gevarieerde programma voert de luisteraar mee langs verschillende stijlperiodes en klankwerelden. Er klinkt zowel monumentale muziek voor trompetten en orgel als pure koperpracht in verschillende ensemblesamenstellingen.

- Handel: concerto for 14 trpts and organ
- Guilmant: sonate opus 42, mvt 3
Trumpet ensemble:
- Gabrieli: canzona for 12 trpts
- Sakai: Sinfonia and Caprice for 8 trpts
- Biebl: Ave Maria for 12 trpts
- Hava Nagilla for all
- Morales: Infinite Ascent for 8 trpts
- Morales: Within Sacred Walls for 6 trpts
