Zaterdag 24 juni openen de tentoonstellingen “Art of Observing” en “Xavi’s Journey through Japanese Culture” in galerie Details. In deze tentoonstellingen zijn de kunstwerken van Janet Lee en haar zoon Xavi Belaj te zien. Beiden inspireren elkaar om creatief te zijn en hun creativiteit op een eigen manier uit te drukken.
Janet Lee is een getalenteerde kunstenares van Surinaamse afkomst. Haar schilderijen worden gekenmerkt door vrouwelijkheid, emotie en krachtige kleuren. Ze bieden een unieke kijk op de wereld en nodigen uit tot introspectie en reflectie.
Xavi Belaj is nog maar 15 jaar. Op jonge leeftijd ontdekte hij zijn passie voor boetseren. Hij spendeerde vele uren aan het creëren van verschillende figuren en personages uit klei, vaak geïnspireerd op de Japanse cultuur en geschiedenis.
Onder het genot van een drankje en muziek zullen de tentoonstellingen op 24 juni worden geopend. Dan wordt ook het 1-jarig jubileum van Details gevierd. Het evenement is gratis en voor iedereen toegankelijk.

De tentoonstellingen zijn te bezichtigen tot en met 28 oktober 2023.
Om de drie/vier maanden krijgen nieuwe kunstenaars de kans om bij Details te exposeren. Zo waren er eerder exposities van Suzanne Harkhoe, Kasper Tinus, Dietrich van Gobbel en Mariken Heijwegen. Details biedt ook een platform aan ontwerpers van mode en accessoires en heeft daarnaast een eigen kledinglijn en een rijke collectie aan vintage mode.
