Striking Roots into the Void
This is an interdisciplinary performance piece featuring contemporary aerial acrobatics – movement in suspension, far off the floor – beyond trick-oriented circus traditions.
In between live performance, installation and object art, in between dance, theater and circus, in between high and low, earth and sky – in between the lines this performance tells about the complex meshwork of interconnectivities, the inseperable entwined relationships between all human and non-human entities on this planet.
The audience is invited to enter an immersive experience by becoming part in a 'root system'. They contribute as wit(h)nesses in creating a total work of art that is rising philosophical questions in a virtuous, highly physical live performance.
